It was only 5 years ago.. hard to believe. They were taken in Arizona at a Golf Tournament for Jeremy Brigham’s Annual Charity Event, in 2017. Pictured with me and my ol pal are members of a Tempe, AZ band “Stereo Rex” who opened the show. Real generous guys. Bryan, their guitar player, let me use one of his amps and one of his guitars. Ed and I were only equipped to do an unplugged type of show. But after hearing Rex and his guys’ soundcheck, Eddie said “John, let’s use em as our back up band and do a rock show” …and so we did. On my left is drummer and old friend Randy Walker, who was living in Arizona at that time. Me and Eddie did that event almost every year. I really miss that Man.
